I am delighted to announce that the winner of the confessions of a design geek bursary is… drum roll please… Jessica Hogarth!
Jessica has won a 3x3m stand at Home London 13 – 15th January 2013, an hour of PR mentoring with David Gorrod of Seen PR (previously PR Girl), an hour of stand design mentoring with Keith Stephenson and Mark Hampshire of Mini Moderns and her very own on-site mentor Jo Robinson of HAM. In a late addition to the bursary, she will also receive a free photo shoot from Yeshen Venema. Congratulations Jessica!
And congratulations to all the shortlisted designers; Thorody, Psalt Design, Stolen Form and Joss Barton – it was a tight race, with over 2,400 votes cast. You will be able to see all the shortlisted designers’ products at Home London on the confessions of a design geek bursary stand alongside Jessica’s.
I would like to say a massive thank you to Home London for the stand, to David at Seen PR, Keith and Mark at Mini Moderns and Jo at HAM for giving their time as mentors, to Yeshen for the photo shoot, to everyone who entered and to all 2,405 of you who voted – thank you. See you at Home London in January!

NB I am really sorry that the poll closed slightly earlier than planned. This was due to the time difference between the UK and where the poll app was developed. This has been noted and will be rectified for future polls. Anyone who didn’t get chance to vote, please accept my sincerest apologies. Given that Jessica was in the lead for the duration of the voting, I am confident that this issue didn’t affect who won the bursary, but I do appreciate your frustration if you were hoping to cast your vote today.
