Home London has got a new September show, and a new venue in London Olympia. Here are a few of my favourite finds… Rhian McLaren‘s yellow and grey midcentury patterns on the Spotted stand curated by Charlotte Abrahams caught my eye.

I loved the simple repeat pattern of the tableware collection by Mr & Mrs Clynk for French design brand, Atomic Soda – and in such a fresh range of citrus colours too.

Also on Spotted, Oscar Francis is a surface pattern design brand with a trained architect at the helm, hence the house printed tote bag, which even comes in a cardboad tube that you might more commonly find architecture drawings in. This grey version with just one yellow house is lined in the same warm yellow hue.

And another Spotted pick – Robin and Mould‘s hand screen printed hedgehogs. This was the Wiltshire-based designer makers’ first ever trade show, so it was really exciting to see their work.

Cornish design brand Block were launching pegboard pinboards, complete with pegs in a range of sizes and colours. Such a simple idea!

I discovered another new brand launching at the show in the shape of Otago – I loved their contemporary take on East African craftsmanship and can’t wait to see more from them. Super excited about this one!

More yellow and grey in the form of Windy Hill’s French holiday home inspired table linens: “those warm and welcoming vacation homes, where hosts are so pleased to have you in a simple but gracious environment, where guests are honoured and filled with wonder in such a warm and pleasant ambiance.”

And finally, I absolutely loved the understated simplicity of a good thing done well – Iris Hantverk work with five visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures to make brushes according to the Swedish tradition in Sandsborgsvägen, Enskede.
