This week’s photos of numbers take us Stateside to San Francisco – all of these were spotted in one trip a couple of years ago. No prizes for guessing that the first one is the San Francisco Fire Department.

They say you need to look up to really appreciate a city, but the next two were both spotted while looking down. I particularly loved the house number right at the bottom of a door – as if intended for mice!
