Alexander Mueller

I am very excited to announce the seventh BRINK designer – London Met Furniture and Product Design graduate Alexander Mueller. Alex has exhibited in Milan and at Clerkenwell Design Week; he’s worked with the Scenic Carpentry Department of The Royal Opera House London and Zaha Hadid’s former Head of Design, Philip Michael Wolfson; he’s one of four finalists for the Heal’s Discovers initiative to find new talent (winner to be announced on 18th September 2013); he was awarded the “Frederick Parker Award 2013” for best contemporary chair design by The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers – and all of this before he even graduated. Plus his chair is BRINK green! I’m really honoured to have him on board and can’t wait to see his work displayed at Tent alongside the other BRINK graduates.

BRINK is a showcase of 2013 graduate talent at Tent London (stand E02) 19th – 22nd September 2013. I will be posting more news on how it’s coming together and announcing the remaining designers over the coming weeks, so watch this space.
