It was really interesting to realise just how much of an iterative process real-live design is. I was really impressed by how collaborative it was. Designers have to be flexible – they’re working towards a solution for their clients, which might end up being quite different from what they originally conceived.

There is just one week left of elephant-spotting! Since May, over 250 brightly painted life-size elephants have been appearing all over London, in order to raise awareness of the plight of the endangered Asian elephant, which has dwindled in numbers by 90% in the last hundred years, and could be extinct in the next 30.
