I thought we’d go for a bit of a monochromatic theme this week. I love the simple bold style of the white number one on the shiny black background – and yes, that is me and my camera you can see in the reflection!

The two front doors are in Hammersmith – I found the symmetry and the differences between the two quite pleasing. 2A is in Putney, I think, pointing the way to some artists studios. I love the exaggerated serifs and the striped arrow.
