Brink London Design Festival 2013

I am delighted, honoured and excited to announce some really big news today….

In partnership with Tent London, confessions of a design geek will be launching a new show at the London Design Festival in September. It seemed crazy to us that there is no graduate design show as part of London’s biggest design event, when over 350,000 people from over 60 countries visit London to see the latest in design. So we have decided to launch BRINK – a showcase of the best design graduates of 2013.

There will be two parts to the show – university and student collective stands; and an editorial space which I’ll be curating to include a few really special pieces of design that have caught my eye at the many graduate shows I have been visiting and will be visiting over the next few days.

We have an incredible 800m2 space within East London’s Truman Brewery called the Loading Bay Gallery, so we’ll be in the same building as Super Brands and Tent London. It’s spread across three floors and has a beautiful glass frontage.

At the time of writing, I believe there are still one or two stands available, so if you or your university is interested in taking part, please email brink@tentlondon.co.uk. And do say hello if you see me at your grad show in the next few days!

Watch this space for all the latest news and developments – I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

I’m so excited I might pop!
