Rachel Powell Tent London LDF13

Tent London has always been one of my favourite shows at the London Design Festival, which is why I was so keen to work with them for BRINK. It’s been really fun to see behind the scenes this year as an exhibitor, but I still found time to explore the rest of the show. I worked with the very talented boys at R&A Collaborations to make this gorgeous little film about the inspirations behind some of my favourite designs…

Eric Landon from Tortus Copenhagen said: “The inspiration behind many of these products is the materials themselves … and all the possibilities that exist when you make things by hand,” echoing Bjorn Andersson‘s inspiration, which he finds in the process of playing with shapes and models. I was also really interested to learn about the Arts and Crafts influences in Sebastian Cox‘s work.
