confessions of a design geek bursary at Home London

The big day has finally arrived and the confessions of a design geek 2014 bursary shortlisted designers are all at Home London. We’re on stand A55, right next door to winner Fanny Shorter on B55.

Set-up day was one of those if-it-can-go-wrong-it-will-go-wrong sort of days, but we got there in the end with a lot of patience, determination and creative thinking from all the team. A huge thank you to all of them, and to Jo Ham and her husband Stu for their help!

It has been so lovely to meet Fanny, Taz, Keith, Nancy and Annabel and I’m so proud to be showing their work on my stand. If you’re coming to Home London, make sure you come and say hello!

One last massive thank you to the incredible team of partners and mentors who made the bursary possible – it’s been an honour to work with all of them: Home London, the Southbank Centre Shop, wallunica, Yeshen Venema, R&A Collaborations, Seen PR, Mini Moderns, HAM, Decorum, October Communications, The Design Trust, Press Loft and Jessica Hogarth.

Until next year…
