Sunday Times Best Design Blogs

Sometimes, just when things are getting really tough, the universe gives you a big kick up the bottom! I was sitting in a training course on Sunday (I know, the blog doesn’t have the word ‘geek’ in its title for nothing!) when I got a text from my Mum saying “OMG you are in Sunday Times home section as one of the best design blogs and they only list ten. How fantastic. From v proud mum xx”.

What an awesome text on so many levels?! (Thanks Mum!) I am so proud that Katrina Burroughs decided to include confessions of a design geek, alongside Apartment Therapy, Bright Bazaar, Decorator’s Notebook, Dezeen, Emma’s Design Blogg, Mad About The House, My Friend’s House, Stylizimo and Walnut Grey Design in her round up of Best Design Blogs – apart from anything else, what amazing company to be in!

The text reads: “localhost/confessions Katie Treggiden’s blog, set up in 2010, is all about emerging talent. It offers interviews and “out and about” posts from our heroine’s tireless travels.”

Chuffed would be an understatement! And thank you so much for everybody’s lovely comments on twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Onwards and upwards…
