We’ve been hard at work getting everything ready to the launch the KIckstarter campaign that will fund Fiera Magazine, with the help of a few friends, so I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a few thank yous.
Firstly a huge thank you to Yeshen Venema for shooting our dummy magazine for us. It’s a work in progress, because the actual content will come from the London Design Festival in September, and Lodz Design Week, designblok in Prague and Eindhoven’s Dutch Design Week in October, but making a dummy copy has been a really useful way to make some important design decisions. And I think you’ll agree that Yeshen did a great job of showing it off in all its glory for our Kickstarter page.

Next, a massive thank you to Daniel Nelson who not only filmed and edited our Kickstarter film, but who stepped in at the eleventh hour to do so. We really wanted to film it at a design show to capture some of that atmosphere, so we had a tiny window of opportunity during Clerkenwell Design Week and were battling against the fading light, all sorts of background noise and curious visitors who kept wondering into shot! But we got there in the end, so thank you Daniel!

A huge and heartfelt thank you to Adam Hollier who took the portrait shot of Jeremy and me that we’ve used on this page and also shots we’ll use in the magazine, just days after his first baby was born – now that’s dedication!
The next big things to happen is the launch of the Kickstarter page – watch this space – and our launch party on Thursday.

RSVP here if you haven’t already and we look forward to seeing you there!
