Fiera Magazine has been getting some fantastic press coverage, so I thought I would share some of it with you. “Hang the bunting, strike up the band and let loose the fireworks, for our very own Katie Treggiden is launching a new print magazine,” said We Heart‘s Executive Editor Rob Wilkes.

“The new magazine will not lack for talent as Katie Treggiden publishes the popular confessions of a design geek blog, while Jeremy Leslie runs a design studio which also publishes the magCulture blog about magazine design,” said Talking New Media‘s DB Hebbard.

“I first met Katie Treggiden, author of the confessions of a design geek blog, when she attended one of my Magazine Publishing Masterclasses at the Guardian,” said Steve Watson, founder of Stack Magazines. “She arrived with a strong idea for a print magazine and left with a steely determination to make it happen. And so it is that, this week, she launched the Kickstarter campaign for Fiera, a new magazine dedicated to covering the world’s design fairs.”

“I’m so excited for my friend and fellow blogger, Editor of Confessions of A Design Geek, Katie Treggiden who has teamed up with the multi-talented and design publication legend Jeremy Leslie (what he doesn’t know about magazine publishing and design isn’t worth knowing) to create FIERA,” says HOP Interiors‘ Mary-Ellen Paul.
Huge thanks to all of the above, and to everyone who’s been spreading the word through social media. We’ve already passed the £2K mark, after just three days, which is amazing! Look forward to seeing as many of you as possibly at the launch party tonight! And make you back the campaign and pre-order your copy via Kickstarter here.
