Grafik Magazine

Fiera Magazine has been getting more coverage in the press and on blogs, so I thought I would share some of it with you here. “A collaboration between MagCulture’s Jeremy Leslie and journalist Katie Treggiden, Fiera is a new model of design magazine crowd-funded by readers – but how will it stand out in such a crowded market?” asks Laura Snoad,of Grafik – and hopefully the interview with me and Jeremy that follows answers her question!

Port Magazine Fiera

Betty Wood of Men’s magazine Port says, “In exciting news for print enthusiasts, magCulture’s Jeremy Leslie is teaming up with confessions of a design geek founder Katie Treggiden on a new project. Titled, Fiera, the new biannual print magazine will traverse the world’s design fairs in pursuit of new talent, to be enjoyed at a more leisurely pace than the break-neck speed reserved for the events themselves.”

Camron

Thalia Mills of Camron PR says, “Award-winning blogger, Katie Treggiden, is looking for funding to support her plan to scour the world’s design fairs for emerging talent in order to present her own edit in a print magazine, which will come out twice a year.”

HAM

And Jo Ham says, “confessions of design geek & magCulture are launching Fiera, an independent magazine discovering new global design talent. See their Kickstarter page to get involved.”

Thank you so much to Laura, Betty, Thalia and Jo – and to everyone else who has been spreading the word through social media. We hit £5,000K last night, which is a fantastic way to go into our last fortnight of funding!
