So, the London Design Festival was pretty incredible – as I’m sure you will have gathered from the onslaught of “out and about” posts! (There are a few more to come, but we’ll go back to our usual schedule from now on!)
LDF is the first of four design fairs I’m visiting for Issue 1 of Fiera Magazine. You will have seen the wealth and diversity of new talent I discovered – I met some fascinating people and commissioned some really interesting articles for Issue 1, which are starting to arrive on my desk as we speak!
I am excited to announce the final line-up for the next three festivals: On Friday I am off to Prague for Designblok and then I’m going straight to Poland for Lodz Design Festival. Finally, I’ve been invited to the Biennale Interieur in Kortrijk, Belgium. I’ve heard amazing things about this fair, and as it only happens every other year, we’ve decided to include it and cover Dutch Design Week next year in Issue 3 instead.
Then we’ll spend November putting the magazine together and Issue 1 of Fiera Magazine will be in print at the end of the month. If you haven’t already ordered your copy via the Kickstarter campaign, head over to the magCulture shop to pre-order Issue 1 now.
