So, we’re out of proper colours and onto “the absence of light.” This is actually a board that Pinterest asked me to create for Halloween last year, and one of the triggers for the idea of arranging boards by colour. I have a couple of rooms in my house painted really dark grey, but I’m not sure I would have even thought of painting a room black before I started this board – now I’m absolutely itching to repaint at least one of those two rooms. The common advice for small rooms is to use pale colours to make them seem bigger. Sometimes it’s much more fun to embrace their size, paint them a really dark colour and create a cosy cocoon. Black and lots of interesting textures would be perfect for that. Enjoy!
