photos of numbers :: 12, 55 & 10

It’s a bit of an international collection this week. The top number is one of my favourites – it’s from the platform of the bullet train that goes between Tokyo and Kyoto in Japan. I love the texture and the Japanese characters, but also the efficiency – these numbers were all the way along the platform showing you where to stand for each carriage.

The middle one I’m afraid is a mystery to me – I promise to start a better filing system! It looks very English though, so let’s go with that! The bottom one I’m pretty sure is from Norway – at least I remember being very cold when I took the photo!

Happy Friday!

(Thanks as always to Ian Barnard for the Polaroid templates.)

    I think the middle one is british… a lot of houses have those styles of house numbers.
