As well as posting photos of numbers here, I also share my finds via Instagram and twitter, so I thought it was about time I posted some of my Instagram photos. (If you want to follow along there, I’m @coadg on both and use the tag #photosofnumbers.) I spotted the top number when I was rushing to an event, but couldn’t resist stopping to snap it – I think it looks great in black and white with Instagram’s drop filter putting just the number itself into focus.

The middle one was very early on a cold bright morning and almost looks like it’s made of frost. And the bottom one was on a lamppost and again, I think the black and white works really well to create a bold graphic look.
