coadg bursary stand at Home London

For this week’s out and about post, I wanted to share some pictures of Saturday’s set-up for Home London, which is at Earl’s Court until tomorrow (15th January 2013). Before Christmas, I launched the confessions of a design geek bursary. A shortlist of five designers was selected from all the applicants and then you voted for a winner.

Jessica Hogarth Coastal Cottages Wallpaper

Jessica Hogarth won her own stand at Home London as well as mentoring from Mini Moderns, Seen PR, HAM, coaching from The Design Trust and a free photo shoot from Yeshen Venema. And just next door to Jess (on stand B44) is the confessions of a design geek Bursary Shortlist stand, featuring all five shortlisted designers, who very kindly all came along on Saturday to help me set up. It was certainly a lot easier with all hands on deck, and I couldn’t help thinking back to being up that wobbly step ladder on my own at Pulse back in May!

The five shortlisted designers were: Jessica, Psalt Design, Thorody, Stolen Form and Joss Barton. Make sure you say hello if you’re planning to visit Home London. I can’t thank Clarion enough for donating the stands, and a huge thank you must also go to all the mentors and contributors. I’m so proud of the confessions of a design geek bursary class of 2013!
