Southbank London

It’s September, and for the design geeks amongst us, that can mean only one thing – the London Design Festival! Before the madness descends, I thought I’d take a few moments to appreciate the creative diversity that makes London such an appropriate place for one of the biggest design fairs in the world – and I didn’t have to stroll much further than the Southbank to find what I was looking for…

Southbank London

I love London’s colour and patina (even on a grey day!), I love its experimentation, its bravery, its cultural diversity, its ‘anything goes’ attitude, its investment in the arts, its dynamism, its no-two-days-the-same spirit… I love that in a 30 minute walk I saw all of the above just by keeping my eyes open. I love London and I can’t wait to see what the London Design Festival has in store for us when it starts next weekend. Stay tuned!

It’s refreshing to see London through somebody elses eyes. I could have done the same 30 minute route but I’m sure I’d have noted totally different things to you. Fab!
