out and about :: maison et objet, paris

Maison et Objet is held in Paris twice a year and is one of the main trade shows on the design calendar. Our editor Katie Treggiden hopped across the channel to explore, focusing her efforts on Hall 7, which is where most of the new designers exhibit. Her HQ for the trip was a pop-up village of wooden cabins, part of an installation called Koti by architect Linda Bergroth at the Finnish Institute. Here are her top picks from the trip…

Having established confessions of a design geek in 2010, Katie Treggiden has gone on to a career in design journalism, writing for titles such as The Guardian, The Telegraph, Elle Decoration, Stylist, Design Milk and Ideal Home.
